About Us

The Municipality of Port Hope is located 100 kilometres east of Toronto, Ontario, and is situated on the north shore of Lake Ontario in the rolling hills of Northumberland County. For further information about the area, please visit the Municipality’s website.

Port Hope Public Library has two branches and provides library service for over 17,000 residents in the Municipality of Port Hope; for people who work, go to school or own property in the Municipality; and for visitors to the area.
